I've seen a lot of people throwing this idea around lately, and it rubs me the wrong way every time. I know Nintendo has some profit problems right now, but the solution doesn't have to be for them to start acting like EA and Activision. It's horrifying how willingly... no, how eagerly many Nintendo fans seem to anticipate being bled dry for a bunch of plastic DLC figurines.
