it just is crippled in the sense that it usually cannot handle 1080p.

Well the X1 can handle 1080p, but that often deters 60 fps.

But lets not ignore PS4 often struggles to achieve 1080p with 60 fps as well. Even if it does it more often than the X1.

I said "usually". Of course it can technically handle 1080p. I believe even X360 can handle 1080p. WiiU can handle 1080p. We know Forza 5 is 1080p, which I saw with my bare eyes. That's not the point. It depends on the game, and the amount of information that needs to be put on screen. 32 MB is TOO LITTLE. This is why only a few non-demanding  sports game (which have only certain number 3d models on the screen as well as cartoonish crowd) and racing games (with 2d backgrounds and a fast paced game with little attention to environmental details) are 1080p on XB1 while the poster child games such as Dead Rising, Ryse, and Titanfall, which are all sub1080p.

I think calling Forza 5 non-demanding is a bit of an understatment. Its a great looking game afterall. Maybe the game is well optimized for the hardware?

I imagine games like Titanfall, CoD, BF4, and perhaps other titles could achieve 1080p if they all sacrificed 60 fps. But developers are still creating ways to get more out of the hardware. We'll just have to wait and see how games in the coming years look.
