"Looks awesome" in terms of graphics? Not remotely true. Even on the highest end PC that can turn up the res and AA to max, this is an old-engine game with unimpressive lighting and rendering technology.
"Looks awesome" in terms of art direction? That really sounds like personal preference, and I'm not sure if anybody is really making that argument, that the art per se is particularly unique and compelling.

I can say that personally, while I'm not opposed to AI bots as such, the dynamic of easily stealing mechs from AI seems to ruin the dynamics for me, IMHO there shouldn't be AI Titans that you can drive, all AI should be pure 'robots', and only PLAYER Titans can be hijacked and taken over.
