Lets take a look at the charts, which is what this site is good for. I think we can agree they're accurate to 5-10%, right?
Because of the others within others, we can't really look at the totals, so I'll break them up: for the PS3, Spain is the really impressive market, and then there's Itally, as well as the "rest of Europe". The UK, Germany and Australia, are basically tied, which is not nearly as impressive. Finally, France and Scandinavia, favor the 360, as of "now".
So the 4th, 5th and 6th markets favor the PS3. The 1st, 3rd and 8th market are tied. And the 2nd and 7th markets favor the 360. Different markets show different "leaders". The 360 was "by now" at 760k (launches aligned), with the PS3 200k ahead.
