^You keep saying this. Sony has ALWAYS been silent about KZ2. They showed a single trailer in 2005, then created a single demo for 2007. That's it.
Also, Factor 5 was releasing information on Lair left and right in the months before it's release. Just look at the videos on Gametrailers. Factor 5 was releasing videos about Lair on a monthly basis from April to July, 2007. The game released only a month and a half later, in September.
You're entire comparison is based on faulty information.
Of course, I'm not saying that KZ2 won't turn out like Lair. Though I do hope that it doesn't. Actually, it would be hard for any high production game to flop like Lair.
OT: Out of the three, I think that Banjo has the highest likelihood of succeeding. It will be at least AA, if not AAA. Sure, Rare splintered just before they were bought by MS, but the Banjo team is relatively intact, ensuring that it should turn out well. However, I think it will be delayed until 2009.
As for Killzone 2, I have a feeling the game will be AA. AAA is unlikely, though I'd be quite pleased if it happened. Given the budget, help from Sony's other developers, etc., I think that the game could score a whole point above the original, thus making it AA.
