Congratulations on your purchase. You got to a great start, but I would skip New Super Mario Bros U, go for Pikmin 3 and give the chance to something different like The Wonderful 101, since you are also getting DKC: TF you may get a little saturation of platform games if you also get NSMBU. Also start saving for Mario Kart 8 that is a mandatory game purchase to play with your GF, and you may need additional controllers by that time.
