what a surprise. another week, another Wii U doomed unless they get rid of the Gamepad. More on point, they shouldn't get rid of the gamepad. With the gamepad they are a totally different console from the others. With the pro controller, all they are is a under power console. Nothing special. Plus games actually use the gamepad already. 3rd Parties will be pretty pissed at Nintendo if they just give up on it after they spent extra money and time to put those features in. Putting Nintendo relationship even more questionable than before. Games like Zombie U also require the gamepad. Along with the home screen, Miiverse, Eshop, etc. Plus all a gamepadless bundle will do is improve sales for about a 3 weeks. Then back to the normal. There's not much upside for Nintendo right now to abandon what the whole point of this console was for. If someone really wanted the Wii U they would buy it. Most of the people who are complaining about it aren't people who are interested in the console any ways. Also, I think people over state the fact that 3rd party's are scared of. Because if they want to release a game on it, all they got to do is put a map on it and give the standard control all other games have. Basically no money spent. If they want to put in the features, they won't break the bank and probably only take about 2 weeks to a month depending on how much they decide to include.

This isn't a doom thread or about dropping the gamepad altogether; it's about providing an affordable option that could HELP Nintendo.
It seems people really don't read OPs...
