So I'm not alone then. The 7th gen in general made a less enthusiastic gamer, I thought it might be me aging but in hindsight I realize that it is definitely about the games themselves. Most games and genres simply took a turn for the worse/less interesting for me in the 7th gen, gameplay fads and glaze covering mostly mindless writing and concepts.
