As far as creativity and originality, from late 70's to the early 90's was probably the best era we have ever seen. Star Wars, E.T., Indiana Jones, The Goonies, Breakfast Club,Nightmare On Elm Street, Halloween, Jaws, T2, Blues Brothers, Friday the 13th, Tron, Jurassic Park, Silence Of The Lambs, Burton's Batman, Superman....the fucking list could go on forever.

Here's something to remember the good times by and perhaps "whet" your appetite for the (eventual panning of) Robocop remake...

The sad part is, the remake actually followed the short story.  It was no cinematic marvel or anything, but at least it had that going for it.
