I can remember I took an instant disliking to DKCR on the wii. Perhaps I should have pushed through my initial dislike for it but after half an hour of playing I just stopped and never played it again. I can remember asking myself afterwards what score would I give it and my answer would be that I'd decline to give a score since it didn't feel like it was my 'type' of game.
The reviewer may have had a similar issue. Shame I didn't like new DKC as Diddy's Quest was easily my favourite SNES game.
