DKC Tropical Freeze was the right choice for Retro, not only for getting higher sales!

I don't think the loading times are too bad, but they ARE considerably longer than Returns... though the longer levels make up for it. Levels are much longer than in Returns, so while you'll wait a little bit longer than what you did in Returns to start a level, you have much more play time in each level before you finish and go back to the map and select another stage, then you have to load again. It's not nearly as bad as I've heard many people say.

Only thing that isn't too good about the loading screens is that they lag (or freezes? You know what I mean I think) a whole lot while DK and his buddy runs around. That wasn't present in Returns where the loading screens was completely 60 fps silky smooth. But then, the loading screens in Tropical Freeze has much more going on, the backgrounds looks much better now that there are more layers and stuff. Not just a stripe in the middle of the screen.

All in all, I've not complained in the slightest at the loading times. They are longer than in Returns, but you won't see any Lego City loadings here.
