Those blue ocean people still have their Wii. They're not interested in dropping hundreds more on another game console. They have the new iPhone to save up for, anyway.

The Wii sold to a lot of people who weren't gamers. Those people have now realized that they're not gamers. They won't be buying another console. Some of them gave their Wii away to the neighbor's kid. Some of them bring it out for parties. Some of them still pop in Just Dance now and then. However, very few of them are worried about upgrading.

The Wii U has a chance to sell moderately well once it builds up a library but I just can't see it catching fire.
