There has never been a game but there are time where people do crowd around a PC like watching a youtube video, Netflix, Hulu, or video chat with a relative that is far away. If the software is enticing enough, they can get people to crowd around the PC.
But I'm also banking on future TVs or devices that lets you stream your PC monitor to TV within three years. Also, if the games can work on laptop, then people can just plug it into their hdmi and buy four controllers like one would do for any home console game.
