Sales =/= awareness. The gaming community does not share your ignorance.

So why did it sell so few then?? The contradictions you folks keep posting is baffling. If people were aware of how good it was, it would have sold. So, something, somewhere is not right eg. people are not aware, or it isn't that good.

Sales =/= quality either. The mass market just isn't into JRPGs any more.

Well not mass market, just the market altoghether. And if the market doesn't like it and only so few like it, then it isn't very good is it? It is the same as trying to flog a 1950's film now - the market has moved on and now deems that to be a bit crappy.
