Enjoy this last generation of consoles. The casual market will go to tablets/phones not Kinect and Sony will be making Steamboxes by the end of next year. Microsoft well they will continue to spread the FUD about sales and live in cloud cuckoo land

This won't be the last generation the "Game Industry DOOM" is so overblown it's not even funny.   The games right now are trash.

-PS4 - 90 percent are the same games we can play on our old consoles.  Killzone was decent.  Knack sucked.  That's about it.

-Xbox One - 90 percent are the same games we can play on out old consoles.  People are burnt out on Racing Games (Forza).  Ryse had nice graphics with meh gameplay.  Dead Rising 3 was the 3rd in a series that didn't even do that great last generation.  Killer Instict has a tiny fanbase when compare to Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, or Street Fighter.  The N64 version didn't even crack a million copies.

-Wii U - Where do I even start.  Pikmin at it's peak on Gamecube sold 1.6 million, no mainstream appeal.   Wonderful 101, great game, modern gamecube game, mainstream hated the gamecube, destined to fail.  Wind Waker HD, A remake of one of the worst selling 1st release Zelda on a home console ever, that will boost it alright.   SM3DW...helped somewhat, but it is still a semi-sequel to 3D land.  If it was a true new mario on the level on SMW,SM64,or Galaxy it would have been massive, but Nintendo was lazy and gave us a perfected version of 3D Land.  It's an awesome game, just not a major console seller.

The industry needs a big dose of heavy hitting software from the 1st and 3rd party companies right now.  PS4 is doing well right now, but if Sony doesn't drop some sick games at E3, good luck keeping that momentum forever.   Xbox One is struggling and will continue to struggle until Microsoft drops the forced Kinect, brings Halo 5, and has a few killer exclusive titles that make it better to have then the PS4.  Wii U will continue to struggle until Nintendo drops it to $250 with a copy of Mario Kart.  Wii was $299 with a copy of Wii Sports and Twilight Princess at launch.  That was an awesome deal.  Wii U is just isn't a great deal and the lack of software makes it an even worse deal.
