The games at the start of this gen are running on last gen engines.. Assassins.. Call of duty.. Maybe not bf4 or kz.. But one should expect visuals to improve at least a little more going into this gen.. Just 1080p at 60fps with a generational leap is going to be hard IMO.. Considering the ps4 is only 10 times more capable than the ps3..
