However, which of those consoles is in it's 3rd month on the market trying to go toe to toe with a rival which launched at roughly the same time?
I'm actually really surprised by how bad XB1's sales have been in comparison with expectations. I didn't expect Vita or Wii U to sell anything. I did expect the US to be the region where XB1 had at least sales parity with PS4.
If PS4 actually ends up outselling XB1 in the US roughly the ratio 360 outsold PS3 and the rest of the world remained identical to PS3/360 in marketshare, PS4 would be massively ahead globally. That surprises me.
Still, it's very early days, XB1 is a very unattractive price and the big hitting games are yet to hit so plenty can change.
