Sure it would. On the gray market the average price is $ 2500-2800. Still way more expensive than the official XboxOne. Price is definetely preventing brazilians to enjoy the PS4. But the worst of it is that there´s no sight of a price cut soon. Perhaps Sony really doesn´t care much about Brazil after all.
It seems that for brazilians this generation will be about MS and Nintendo..... again. That´s a shame. Our government SHOULD launch incentives do the development of the videogame industry here for once.

Did any brazilian that got Wii or Xbox 360 ever actually paid for a single game at least? Heard the rate of hacked software there is HUUUUUUGE!
Maybe that's why they don't really care for the country, something like: let's just sell some hardware and profit with this people, they wont ever buy an original game anyway...

True, true, true.
Piracy is blatant in Brazil. Most Wii, PS2, DS and Xbox360 owners only buy piracy. (Although there is a certain % of consumers who do prefer original products). Official products are TOO expensive, be it games or consoles.
