The heavy rain lady never impressed me...I was more impressed with HL2.
"Realism" depends on so many things, but I think it's more important to nail animation, voice acting, etc, before polygons and lighting.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
