Gotta be honest, I really wasn't interested in the original Bayonetta for some pretty shallow reasons. I didn't like the aesthetics for Bayonetta's original character design that much, and among a much larger library of games, it wasn't even close to a priority for me.
That said, the situations been sort of reversed! I love how the game looks with a much more vibrant color palette, and Bayonetta's new design looks amazing! And since the Wii U isn't exactly being flooded with games, there's no excuse for me not to get it anymore! I hope the original gets a port. I really need to give it a try now.
As crazy as it sounds, the Wii U's admittedly sparse library has forced me to pick up games I would have normally dismissed because of a huge backlog, even games like SM3DW. It feels like when I was a kid, where getting a new game was a rarity and something to be excited for.
