I actually meant it's peak year, not it's peak month. And it's not 50k a week in america, it's 50k in an entire month.

 

For comparisons sake the 3DS sold around 150k this time last year, with less software and no 2DS

That 50K on the front page chart is not for a whole month, but for one week. 50k in one week seems pretty good to me.
