What's really getting on my nerves is IGN. I swear, I already know they're going to rate MK Wii 80% or less. Their previews are written in a bored, unimpressed tone - compare it to their Smash hype!
And they did it before, about MK:DD they said:
"It's good, clean multiplayer fun but it doesn't progress far beyond the N64 version other than in the visual department...I expected so much more than this mediocre effort."
Jesus, they couldn't be farther from the truth. They gave DD a 79%, while the average on Metacritic is 87%. Could it be that IGN just prefers fighting games over racing games or whatever? I just know that I love DD, but didn't like Melee at all. I'll even skip Brawl, but MK Wii is my most anticipated game of this generation.
Grrrr.
