Sadly No... Anyway NPD will be out 11 PM in my country.

It will be interesting with Nintendo Direct around the same time and if NPD shows that Wii U sold in USA around the same as VGC estimated or even exceeded VGC estimation which would mean it was undertracked or even NPD at a later time announce that they undertracked Wii U sales even when their stated number hits or exceeds VGC's estimation then it would be a megaton...

If Nintendo Direct today drops a couple of shells or bombs that would create a megaton then expect NeoGAF and other forums crash like with Bayonetta 2 meltdown...

I expect all three 8th gen consoles to be ever so slightly overtracked, but we must remember that NPD also extrapolate, so their numbers aren't 100% either, most numbers are only spot-on a few months or so after.

I think 360 and PS3 are still being overtracked quite a bit globally, those things are really crashing now.

I don't think the Direct will have any bombs; it will likely be a reassurance show without any big news, I don't think we'll see much exciting gaming news until spring, to be honest. Also; the whole Bayonetta "meltdown" was something I never saw, did people really care? It wasn't exactly a big game on PS360 and even sold quite a bit less than DMC. I liken it more to Darksiders in impact and appeal.


How you didn't saw it? Various forums were crashing or were unavailable after Bayonetta 2 announcement which also announced to be exclusive for Wii U only and people were going like WTF/WTH and twitter literally "exploded"... I mean, how you didn't saw it? I could't open any NeoGAF thread...

Bayonetta is considered to be a mature game and not fit for Nintedno and their "casual" fans that love "kiddie" games yet Nintendo funded it and did something that a lot of so called "hardcore"(more kiddie than hardcore, those wanna-be's) not possible to comprehend. The impossible happened. Its simple as that.
