Which console had better online? WiiU or original Xbox?

That's a good point, Nintendo's premiere 1st party title (Mario 3D World) doesn't even have online support. At least the new Smash Bros will have it. 

Platformers and online dont have much in common. And Super Mario 3D World has online ghosts and Miiverse. Mutliplayer is multiplayer, dont pick and chose

So what if I want to play 3D World with my friend who lives in another state? Should I buy a plane ticket or just play against his ghost? There's no excuse for Nintendo not to be supporting their titles with online multiplayer if it already has co-op.

Not rayman, not Knack, not any of the ones Nintendo's released, Not even damn Sonic Boom has online. And you know who was at the forefront of online back in the day? SEGA. Sega is the king of online. And they're not even doing it.

Little big planet and RAtchet and Clank both had terrible online, the various indie games that tried online in platformers were very very bad at it

Online and platformers in general dont mix due to how they're designed

The order should have co-op btw.

Rayman Legends on Vita and LBPVita both have online co-op. Also calm down in your posts, you're extremely aggressive which explains why you're always getting banned. The Wii U obv has better online than the original XBOX, this was a bit of a troll thread.

LBP is a floaty platformer that has the exact same problems im indicating, and they only get worse in a 3D platformer with their collision physics.

 

And Legends doesnt have online co-op on Vita. Google it. It has ad hoc multiplayer.

 

Look., there have been EXTENSIVE arguements about the viability of online platformers, thery're on the internet, go look for them if you're interested in educating yourself. Im very tired of being aggressive, so please, ignorance be gone so I can calm the fuck down.

I own Rayman Legends on Vita and it has online Co-op.

Also all I did was give you two platforming games which have online co-op. How is that ignorance? Or maybe you weren't directing it at me :S very hard to understand with how you#ve structured your response.
