Why the heck is everyone so crazy about the PS4?

I get so tired of hearing this statement like it's a fact. It's not.

It has no EXCLUSIVE games that are a must-have, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Tomb Raider, LEGO Movie & Marvel, Outlast are all on other consoles or PC. Right now it has Killzone, Knack, Resogun, and Infamous in a couple of weeks. The rest is E3 announcement/Holiday 2014 releases

It just came out.  Name a console that had tons and tons of exclusives on its release day.

EVERY console launch has had one or two decent 1st party games, some multiplats, and some shovelware
Early adoption is pointless on any platform, PS4, XBONE, WIIU, Dreamcast, 3DS, PS2, Gamecube. You'll pay the most money for the system (in comparison to later price drops), have the least amount of games, and have to deal with the begining system bugs and glitches that will be sorted out later in the systems life
