It wont be exclusive to Microsoft on the consoles for long outside of the first game, so I don't know why they hype it up. I guess just because Microsoft paid for it, they must hype it up to the heavens. At least when Sony fans hype something up they more often than not know its fully exclusive.

It's because they see how sales are going, so they are hoping that this one game will change the way the gen is going, and start closing that 1.2M+ gap that the PS4 created in meer months.  If this doesn't do that, then they will start hyping GeOW and Halo as the savior of the One.  What they don't realize is that Titanfall is only going to help a little in the US, but not WW.  Not that it needs to.  They should just enjoy it if its a good game, instead of pushing it like the 2nd coming of gaming christ that will change ALL games forever, as well as push the One to the top of the charts for weeks/months.

And I don't get why they say Sony fans are trying to prove this game isn't good.  I have never once seen one on here say it looked like shit.  In fact, most say it looks like fun or a good game, but that people are only overhyping it because it is MS exclusive for the first game.

Titanfall will be good for MS business for the first game, but seriously, Sony is playing with fire with MS this year. MS has Halo and Titanfall exclusive this year. There are zero heavy hitters coming to the PS4 this year. Unless The Order is bloody amazing no one people will keep being attracted to the Xbox One via the games. Uncharted is more than likely not coming this year (even though I cannot wait for it) They dont need to beat Sony, they just need to be on Sony's heels. It's sad Sony's gap isn't larger right now. The way its looking is this year Sony will as usually be single player heaven and MS will be multiplayer heaven. Where will most people be playing? Multiplayer. Just hype it up and thats all she wrote. People who want to buy shooters have great reasons to go Xbox One first and if Kinect gets dropped that will be very obvious.

Fire?  Lol, no.  Sony has plenty of games, 1st and 3rd party, that will keep people interestedd this year.  Especially since all multiplats are going to run/look better on PS4.  Also, according to leaks, there is only a Halo 2 remake this year, not Halo 5.  Which means Uncharted and Halo will be going toe to toe in 2015.

Not sure how Sony's gap could be much larger.  I mean it's 1.2M+ in just 1 1/2 months.  That's feaking huge.  Unless you expected the One to sell nothing, which is ridiculous.  Of course, Sony's gap may be much larger than we think, since apparently Sony has a decent gap on MS in Jan NPD.  At least according to famousmortimer.  And if sales keep going the way they are, and they will in EU and Japan, the PS4 will become the go to console for any game, including shooters.
