I think the OP was refering to the people who were looking to buy a PS4, a $400 machine. If your paying $400 for something its most likely not because they care about stats. Your buying into the console you find the most attractive and has the games you want that will lead to you having the best experience/gameplay according to your preference. Sony did a MUCH better job at advertising the PS4 to gamers than MS did with the XBOX One. Sony has a bigger relation with the general population this time around hence the bigger sales and bigger audience.
