The rumors of his resignation were purely fabricated in the west. It was never on the table.
New leadership does not equal the right decisions. Thats alot like football and changing the coach. Doesnt make a huge difference if you dont have the support structure for him.
Resignation is something to be done when the leadership no longer knows what to do. Iwata has proven with the new plan they presented that is has a sound plan for Nintendo, and its a smart one. I wish him all the best, and most of all i am looking forward to more great games coming to their entertainment consoles wich i can enjoy.
