pfff.. I really don´t know why people expected him to resign. Why would he do that? It would be stupid of him to do that.
WiiU is not doing well but, hey, wasn´t Iwata the president on the huge sucess of the DS and the Wii? Isn´t the 3DS crushing the competition right now?
His life as Nintendo´s president is not just about failures. There´s plenty of success in the past. Besides, he admitted his mistakes and even cut his salary.... again.
Now he just must be clever to restructure the company and make the company please its consumers, in order to avoid new losses next fiscal year end
