if so, good for xbox gamers.

seems like, to me, that not only are ps4 owners pleased to have the best version of virtually every game. the possibility of xbox one owners having comparable quality down the line also pissess them off. quit being so selfish, guys. unless they gimp the ps4 version to achieve parity, there's nothing to complain about.

So, I'm assuming you said this exact same thing 7 years ago, when both the 360/PS3 were released, right?  Because, frankly, you'd be among a very rare group of individuals.  What you're seeing is the fallout from last gen, where Sony and it's fans took a severe beating, for years, due to it's initial struggles.  As they say, turnabout is fair play.

Bolded: Developers have outright said that this is going to occur due to the politics involved between Microsoft, Sony, publishers and developers.

"One source even suggested that enforcing parity across consoles could become a political issue between platform holders, developers and publishers. They said that it could damage perceptions of a cross platform title, not to mention Xbox One, if the PS4 version shipped with an obviously superior resolution and framerate; better to “castrate” the PS4 version and release near-identical games to avoid ruffling any feathers."
