I don't see how a company can mistreat their audience with things that either don't exist or are free to purchase.

Is Microsoft mistreating me because I don't like the games on the Xbox? Is Sony mistreating me because Infamous doesn't release a month earlier? Is Square Enix mistreating me because LR could be the first shitty FF for me?

They can mistreat theiryour audience by giving them shoddy and/or late ports.

Not if it is the audience that chooses to play the bad ports even though there are superior versions out there. You can't blame the company for the bad decisions its audience makes with their products.

Don't buy it if it is bad. That's the win-win for both company and audience because first will learn from it and the latter will not have to play rubbish.
