xbox 360 multiplats doesnt look so bad in comparission with the ps3 versions(both consoles have better looking multiplats) its even.

this generation its different, multiplats on ps4 look much better than on xbone.

if ms kills the kinect u just have a weaker console that can do the same things like the ps4 just not as good...

Most multiplats were superior on the 360 for several years, didn't stop them from having a good effect on the PS3's momentum. The 360 had a one year head-start and gained the upper hand at the start in developer relations.

I'm guessing the PS4 is the lead platform for most multiplat games now; the PS3 sustained its momentum the best of all the 7th gen contenders, the PS4 has a terrific public perception and a superb developer environment; it makes sense to make it the lead. I agree that multiplats will have a bigger impact on the PS4, the xbox doesn't have any advantages in ease of development this time around and momentum begets momentum. But you're claiming that multiplats will have no impact on the One and that's crazy talk in my opinion.

I still think you're underestimating the One; it's way too early to say that the generation is set in stone when it comes to the PS4 and One.

If MS makes the Kinect optional; they will have a 399$ (perhaps even 349$ before the holidays) console with a much clearer market aim and no need to frantically run around trying to justify the Kinect as a traditional gaming device. UI issues can be patched and consolidated, in fact; I'm almost 100% certain that MS are working on this as we speak. Kinect is a massive philosophical and marketing problem and not much more at this point, and it was a huge mistake to make it mandatory.

I agree with you on the Kinect being an issue but I don't think Microsoft is ready to give up on it just yet. They want the XBO to be this all in one entertainment device and everything is sort of focused on the device. The entire UI was built around it. Microsoft seems to have a problem with just selling the XBO as a gaming machine and keeps trying to get it in every living room. They're trying to sell it to people who have no interest in games and just want to watch Netflix, I suppose Kinect makes that easier in their minds.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
