| No more than the meltdown of xbox owners continually going on about how the PS3 would never catch the 360. And how they quickly wanted to move to next gen when they realised it HAD caught up. Now that the X1 is getting soundly beaten by the PS4 they're harking back to the 360. Hypcricy at it's finest. |
PS3 is ahead, squashing 360 every week. End of the thread. And PS4 squashing XBox One.

| LOL is was last gen doesn't matter now all of a sudden it does? PS3 will end up ahead anyway. Still sold faster, it launched a year later (16 months in europe) and was more expensive all last gen. Can x1 do the same being more expensive the ps4? Not unless a miracle happens. |

Attacking fan bases for no other reason than to "win one" for your console maker, taking pot shots at users who aren't even part of the discussion, mocking the OP despite the work he's put into the thread, posting pointless off topic straw man arguments to try and discredit the entire discussion...
And you all wonder why sales discussion has turned to a load of crap. Or why we've built these giant console specific threads just to have decent console specific conversations. Or why ioi's even said himself that the flaming and trolling has gotten out of hand. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to tredge through the (very) thinly veiled agendas and "console alliegances" just to have a decent conversation.
I just wish we could actually post informed and on topic responses instead of "taking one for the team", and that if someone didn't have anything constructive to say that they would *gasp* refrain from posting and move on. As much as a "push" that ioi and the mod team have on this site, it's you all that either drive this forum forward or let it stumble through all the console wars.

They aren't thinly veiled. You can look tell the posters who want to keep up the petty wars no matter what. Act like they are getting paid to downplay. I'll never understand this type of mess.
