OMG.

its like with alot of video game melodies. Back in the day they had to come up with smart design choices to make characters recognizable and music that actually sounds like a good melody.

Today its just generic and overladen with useless shit in both character design and music.


Other than MasterChief most Nintendo characters and the only mascots that actually work are old ones like Banjo Sonic Rayman Pacman etc. (realistic ones usually FAIL with some exceptions from japan because of the hair and clothing style)

Plants versus zombies e.g does also not work since it looks like a Pokemon.

I hope you don't mean Solid Snake by saying the generic old man or else I will find you
