It is good for all games. It's just awesome for some of them that use the touchscreen. As a bog standard controller it's just as capable as the 360 controller and DS3/4, but when developers use the touchscreen - whether it's using it to display a full map at all times to save you from interrupting your game by pressing a button to display it on your telly every time you want to see it, whether it's to ease inventory handling, whether it's to create increased immersion by having computer displays/literature/hacking mini-games on it, whether it's to keep the telly screen clear of HUD items which makes the game more cinematic or whether it's for Off-TV Play which means your missus can watch crappy reality telly without interrupting your gaming - it's by far the best controller seen in years. |
fair enough, but isnt that the one of the main issues is that devs are using it for nothing more than a standard controller for most of the games?
Edit: i dont have to worry about sharing a TV with anyone so the off tv play does nothing for me
