you know the top pic is the US ship right? the underneath one is the Iran "warship" I believe. I love their version of an aircraft carrier... Helicopter carrier.
Just to put that in line with US navy you got the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Nimitz_%28CVN-68%29 which is close to 1/3 of a kilometer long and yeah... you can land a helicopter on a square as wide as it's rotor blades are.
