Because they don't sell?
I hope it's game that isn't going to appeal only to nintendo guys or dudebro. Nintendo needs to draw in there previous wii base.
|
they've been trying and it hasnt been working, so you suggest they keep doing something that isnt working?
|
No, they haven't.
|
yes they have. Wii Party U, Wii Fit U, NSMBWii U and Luigi, Nintendoland, Mario&SOnic, Lego, Rabbids. These are follow ups to some of the biggest series on WIi. Only thing that they havent done is Wii SPorts, so how havent they tried yet?

I can tell you really didn't think this post out. Mario and sonic? Really? How is this trying to draw in casuals? Lego is by a different company and isn't a casual game in sense of wii sports. Rabbids is a cash-in from ubisoft which at this point you are stretching for anything even if it's not even rational to the discussion or my post.Mario U is aimed at nintendo guys and not casuals. Luigi is DLC which again proves you were just looking for a list and not actual looking at what your posting. The only games actually aimed at the fanbase is wii party u which hasn't been marketed at all. Wii fit U with some don't even know exist. Nintendo land is to much of a middle game between hardcore and casual. Wii party and wii fit were not the draw of the wii it was the effect of the wii sports. That is what nintendo needs to make.
Nintendo needs to release a killer casual app and properly market it. We need a new ip that is like wii sports that shows great appeal to casuals.

i listed games that sold in DROVES on the original Wii, surely those games werent bought by JUST Ninty fans, lets not pretend that is the case at all. I do agree they are not advertising. And i do agree they need a killer app, but you act like its something thats just easy to do. They havent done it because they simply cant or dont know how to.
