Funny thing is, when a Sony console or handheld sells less than a competitor, Sony fans will say it has legs, it may sell less but it has legs and will last longer... Well, the x360 has had the better legs, it came out a year earlier, sold a little more to date, and they both got replaced at the same time. So even if ms discontinued the 360, the ps3 still has to be out for another year to be even... I'm sorry guys, but behind the wii, the Xbox 360 won, because that generation is over now... All the Sony fans clinging to the idea that the ps3 will "win" are the same ones bragging about the ps4, the system they play now, over the ps3.... The generation is over guys, let it go... The sales that both get from here on out mean nothing... It changes nothing, because by Sony and ms releasing new consoles, they ended the race. Sorry for the block of text, on my phone. By the end of the generation, (because it is the end)Ms sold the most machines of the two, sold more total software by nearly 100 million, and made more money, and took a huge chunk of Sonys market share. They won guys, they won.... And it took Japan to keep Sony close. Ms is nonexistent in Japan, so without them, Sony is behind by 10 million, so what did Sony really win? Hmmmmm?? Sounds like not much of anything to me.
