The fact that Sony and MS have "sim" racer franchises are successful shows that there is an existing market for those kinds of games. With Gran Turismo not coming to the PS4 any time soon and Drive Club being a more arcade racer there is a great opportunity for a game to pick up the GT audience looking for a next gen title. On the MS side Forza was poorly recieved by many thanks to it's striped down feature set, ill thought out "drivertar" system and busted economy with lots of micro-transactions, so their is a hungry audience there too. The Wii U on the other hand is a floundering system that struggles to sell even the biggest AAA mufti-platform titles and no existing sim racer fanbase and also technically gimped vs the other platforms and tech is an important part of sim racers.


They stated the Wii U version is no slouch...
