If Titanfall makes a big splash, the X1 could surpass the Wii U before E3 (depending on what effect MK8 has on Wii U sales).

The X1 will certainly be ahead by the end of the year if it can't get ahead by E3. Halo, QB, SO, and a wide variety of multiplats (Destiny, Witcher 3, The Division, etc.), including the ones that make it to Wii U (Watch_Dogs, maybe the next CoD and AC) will drive more X1s than Smash Bros, DK:TF, and the collection of more niche titles in the Wii U lineup (Bayo 2, Hyrule Warriors).

Another Wii U price cut might keep it close, but it still wouldn't be enough to outweigh the tide of mass market blockbusters coming to Xbox.
