Rentals hurt sales more than help them. Nintendo needs more demos on the 3DS and Wii U and don't limit them to a certain amount of uses.

The thing about Nintendo demos is that the games have demos for what. A month before Nintendo pulls them, if that? Nintendo needs to get out of the mindset that they're going to be selling every game at full MSRP and accept the fact that a lot of people might rather buy at $20 or $30. By leaving the demos on the marketplace, then people will be able to play the games and might end up getting it after they play it regardless how old it is.

That is simply not true. People generally rent games they never had any intention on purchasing but there is a good chance someone will rent a game and like it to the point where they want to keep it. Gamefly is actually a great way to buy games at a low cost. you pay you rmonthly fee and if they send you a new game and you wanna keep it you save$15 instantly cause its not considered a used game. You wait a few extra days and can get any new game for $45. Hell of a deal if you dont mind the wait. Then as soon as you decide to keep it they send out whatever the next game in your queue is.
