buy low, sell high. These continual losses should light a fire under them. Maybe they'll stop convincing themselves that their products are worth their premium price tags. Sony generally doesn't put out bad products. Look at reviews for their TVs, VIAOs, their cameras, etc. They're mostly good. But why should people pay $1300 for a VIAO when an equivalent laptop from HP or Samsung laptop for less than half of that?

They don't keep their products competitive and that's why competitors are killing them. The gaming division and movie division can't sustain them. Once they get their act together and realize that they need to keep prices competitive for equivalent products, they'll see a rise in revenue because they put out top notch things. I'd get a VIAO if it were $600 like similar spec'd laptops, for example. They may not realize it immediately, but they will eventually.

So buy low and sit on it. It'd be like buying Apple stock in like 2001. They were constantly getting their butts handed to them and had little marketshare, and while it didn't lead to lower prices, it led to innovation. One or the other could happen to Sony when they decide that they've had enough of losing money.
