Agree, at least they should make an exclusive GTA game for Vita. I believe it would sell like hot cakes.

They should do an exclusivity deal, with a caveat in the contract that requires a certain amount of sales w/in a given period and if they don't meet that, then they can move it to other platforms to ensure they remain profitable.

With that if a Vita version doesn´t sell enough then Rockstar won´t have many losses if they release it for other platforms right? I kinda like that idea, it can guarantee at least one GTA game for Vita.

It's really the only way Rockstar could do it, without risking losing money on the product. Would have to be fair to them in this, in the very least. At the same time, a GTA game on Vita could very well open peoples eyes to what the thing can do, because from everything I've heard it's a pretty remarkable gadget...just hard to compete with the 3DS/DS etc...

I believe they can pull off an amazing game for the Vita. I have Killzone Mercenary for mine and it is great. The game was developed with the Killzone 3 engine along with some programming tricks such as optimization for the Vita hardware and dynamic internal resolusion that can keep a solid framerate at all times, without sacraficing much image quality. Rockstar can do something like this, they are excelent developers.

Given the tech in the Vita, I have no doubts that any developer who cared could make a great game for the system. I think the whole 'doesn't have games' narrative, has taken over the conversation (which is a load of crap, clearly). It's a great item, and if you actually live in an area with a decent amount of wi-fi hotspots it replaces your need for a cellphone entirely except for extreme circumstances in which case you could simply have a pre-paid cheap phone sitting in your car etc...
