People buy the PS4/XB1 because they have trust that those systems will have tons of third party support and will have the full variety of games that they enjoy without "please understand" excuses being made.
That's why the PS4/XB1 can sell quickly out of the gates, that and people were sick and tired of their 360/PS3 since the last gen went on so long (good thing Nintendo brings out ... another 360/PS3 level system ... something literally no one asked for).
