Why should it be off putting?

Hearing about Nintendos ideas is always exciting.
I mean when I think about the next playstation or xbox i exactly know what I will get. The same thing with just better graphics. Everyone knows that and is that preventing people from buying a PS4 right now? I dont think so.

And since everyone knows that the successor to the successor of ones console is always being planned. Why not talk about it? its not like they say "its out next month" like EA did with MassEffect Trilogy when the WiiU version was new. So there is no reason to be somwhat influenced by this.

Yeah I agree with you they do have to ride it out regardless of less than expected sales.

I personally  really wish N would go after Minecraft for the Wii U and GTA5. They need a Pokemon as well. I also think they should just get their whole original Wii library on the VC digitally with extremely competetive pricing like 9.99-14.99 per title maybe 5.99-7.99 for the lesser popular/less high rated titles, and port all their current popular DS/3DS titles to the VC as well the tablet with TV should accomadate that I imagine.

They just need games that have more appeal imho, and since they shunned next gen 3rd party dev's with the Wii U's design they will have to pull graphically less demanding titles (minecraft) and past titles to draw people to the console in the meantime. But that's my personal opinion and I might be way off on what will work for them. Maybe they can't port them who knows.

Nintendo would do that but It cant thats the problem.  Do you think  third party  wants their not so old Wii games on sale for 10 bucks?  I mean why do you think  NES VC games cost 5  only because Nintendo wants that?    NIntendo could sell all of their games for 30 cents but Konami etc will never let their games sell for that cheap.  And if Nintendo does that alone then third party will have another reason to whine about Nintendo "meh  Nintendo games are so much cheaper noone wants our games for 10x the price  T.T"

THB I would buy every single NES game that exists it it would be 30 or 50 cents no matter if I'd ever play them. But I will never ever buy a single NES game for 5 bucks (especially since my currency is euro) no matter what game it is. I would also never pay 20 bucks for a digital Wii game.  The most expensive digital game I ever bought was TombRaider PC für 15 bucks.
