No it didnt hurt it actually, it actually led to more sales and I bet the units MS replaced were counted in their 'sales' data

Let me guess, you have x amount of friends, most got rrod and bought x amount of 360's x amount of times, right?

clearly it didnt damange their brand reputation as a few of your fellow xbox fans have pointed out that 360 sales increased significantly over the original xbox.

Anyway, if it comes to the point where you have to justify the fact that PS3 will overtake the 360 (if it hasnt already) with something like RROD, that says it all.
