Although, on the topic, I don't see why they need to, getting good sales in the games chart shouldn't be about bundling a game. A game should sell on it's own merits, not because it comes with something.

Nicely questioned. I find it more impressive if a game sells sumpteen million just buy good reviews, word of mouth and advertsing etc on it's own, not because it comes with a nessecary piece of kit for the console or the console itself.

But that doesn't make sense from a financial perspective.  It's more advantageous to bundle the bad game than a good game as the good game would sell well bundled or not whereas the bad game will actually better in a bundle than it would otherwise.
