I finally agree with this. I've never agreed to anything he's said before but now i do.
Paying to play old games that i already bought and played? I think not.

Is it preferable to keep three consoles under the TV instead? Neither the PS4 nor PS3 are backwards compatible, if you want to play games from all generations; you'll need a PS2, PS3 and a PS4 in the same setup. I much prefer having it all in one, if for no other purpose than a more streamlined experience. Besides; a lot of these older games can be practically impossible to track down in physical copies. Not to mention that you won't actually need to purchase a Vita or PSP in order to play their games.
It won't be terribly different from the current PS+ in structure, only a lot more all-encompassing and ultimately cheaper for what you get. I would much rather pay for something like this than PS+. Of course; that may not be the case for a lot of other people.

No thanks i dont want to replay old games. If i do then thats why i have a collection. Isn't that why people collect games? to replay them when they want.

Not everyone is invested in PS1, PS2 and even PS3 though. This is a long term plan being rolled out. Youre assuming we all have room for 4 consoles, Cable, ChromeCast/Apple TV, Denon (any brand) Receiver, not to mention people that own XBONE, 360, WiiU etc.
Also, I know for a fact that I get urges to play games I havent in a long time or dont own when friends are over that I may not want to own but could see the benefit of having at my disposal if the situation arrises.
Granted we dont know what will be available, how the saves will work (will it work with saves across multiple devices?) etc.
But this idea that everyone owns every game they ever want to replay or enjoy and has access to all the Sony consoles at any moment (cant this even stream to Vita and Bravia?) so perhaps anywhere they want as well is.....silly.

I dont want to replay old games. It might be for you and others but not me. I am sure i am not alone in this.

So one might assume that this could be the start of an older games collection for those who dont already own the games? I understand there is no reasoning with you but I would be lying if I didnt say I was be curious as to how you rationalize your thoughts in posting you dont want to play old game but keep a collection for the ones you do want to play...........

I dont really collect video games. I collect items that come with video games. Like in limited edition items ranging from a statue to a poster. I do have a game collection aswell but i also have the system along to play them with. I hardly ever go back to replay a game. I said "I dont WANT to replay old games" the only reason why i sometimes replay is a game is simply because i am either bored and i own the game. I will not go out and re buy an old game and play it as that is not my main interest.
