At the moment, I'd be ok being outsold 3.5:1. The PS4 is much newer, and it's by far the clear favorite in this generation (it's outselling the X-Box One by more than 2:1 at this point as well, and the One was released at the same time frame).
I'd simply advocate Nintendo sticking to their plan for the time being, although something absolutely needs to be done about the third party support if this is the fastest they can churn first party titles out.
