You realize Winter 2014 is now?  Or do you mean in December of this year.

I think it will be a while, like a year an a half or more, before the price drops.  If adjusted for inflation, the PS4 is still quite a bit less expensive than the PS3 was.   And almost the same price as the PS1 if you ajust for inflation.

Winter is now, but it started back in September/October 2013.  Winter 2014 starts this September/October.  We're just coming out of winter right now, going into spring.
